[Seoul Mobility Show] Porsche Korea Unveils 12 Models Including Asia's First Panamera Platinum
Asia's First 'Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Platinum Edition' Unveiled
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Porsche Korea announced on the 25th that it exhibited a total of 12 vehicles, including the Panamera Platinum Edition, which was unveiled for the first time in Asia, at the '2021 Seoul Mobility Show' held at KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.
At the press conference held under the theme of 'Sporty Mobility of Today and Tomorrow,' Holger Geyermann, CEO, took the stage as a speaker to reveal the management achievements and future vision.
CEO Holger Geyermann stated, "Porsche Korea aims for sustainable growth and continues to achieve record results every year. To repay the support of Korean customers, we are preparing more aggressive management investments and an attractive product portfolio," adding, "At this mobility show, we plan to present an attractive new car lineup reflecting the product strategy based on efficient gasoline, high-performance hybrid, and pure electric drives, which are the core of our brand strategy."
At the exhibition, the 'Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Platinum Edition' was unveiled for the first time in Asia. This model is equipped with a 17.9 kWh battery and delivers a total system output of 462 horsepower. The time required to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h is 4.4 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the previous model. The top speed is 280 km/h.
Porsche Korea also unveiled the '911 Targa 4 GTS' from the 911 sports car line for the first time in Korea. The 911 GTS is equipped with a turbocharged 3.0L flat-six engine, producing a maximum output of 490 horsepower, 30 horsepower more than the previous model, with a peak torque of 58.2 kg·m. It takes only 3.5 seconds to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h.
The 'new Macan GTS' was also unveiled for the first time in Korea. In addition, Porsche Korea plans to exhibit a diverse lineup of 12 models at this Seoul Mobility Show, including the Taycan Cross Turismo and 99X Electric.
Meanwhile, Porsche Korea plans to further enhance its product lineup. Starting with the 'Cayenne Turbo GT' in the second half of this year, it will launch the Macan GTS, 911 GTS, Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, and Panamera Platinum Edition in the first half of next year. The Taycan GTS line will also be released sequentially, expanding the Taycan product portfolio.
In particular, Porsche Korea, which raised the electrification ratio of its product portfolio by launching its first CUV and second pure electric vehicle, the Taycan Cross Turismo, last month, is also focusing on the 'Porsche E-Mobility Strategy' through the expansion of fast and slow charging infrastructure.

Along with this, Porsche Korea is focusing on customer care to provide premium services in line with the rapid growth of the brand. In the first half of the year, it opened a Porsche-exclusive vehicle logistics center (VPC) capable of accommodating 1,000 vehicles per month, and recently, following Porsche Studio Songdo, Porsche Studio Bundang is about to open.
