Drawing Fire Safety Slogans and Pictures Directly on Transparent Umbrellas
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Jeonnam Gwangyang Fire Station (Chief Choi Hyun-kyung) announced on the 25th that on the 24th, they conducted the 119 Transparent Umbrella Campaign, which draws safety, together with the Gwangyang City 119 Youth Group, Sinhwa Kindergarten, and Haetcheoreum Daycare Center, centered around Gwangyang Citizen Square and Gwangyang City Hall.
On that day, the parade was carried out with children drawing fire safety slogans and pictures directly on transparent umbrellas and opening the umbrellas in sequence,
starting from Gwangyang Citizen Square, where many vehicles pass, then proceeding to Gwangyang City Hall, KT Plaza, and Gwangyang Fire Station. Wearing promotional shoulder sashes and using fire department character masks, the 119 Transparent Umbrella section performance conveyed a message to passing vehicles and citizens to be cautious of fire during the winter season.
Choi Hyun-kyung, Chief of Gwangyang Fire Station, said, “Winter has a higher risk of fire than other seasons, so special attention is required. Through this campaign, I hope many citizens actively participate in fire prevention to make Gwangyang a safer city.”
