[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Fresh Easy announced on the 25th that it has launched a premium meal kit collaboration product with Hotel Shilla. The new product was released as two types of ‘Shilla Dining at Home’ meal kits, themed around ‘hotel fine dining enjoyed at home.’
The ‘Shilla Dining at Home’ meal kits are characterized by the use of the finest ingredients combined with Hotel Shilla’s recipes, developed with the participation of Hotel Shilla’s chefs over a four-month development process. These are exclusive products for Samsung Electronics’ ‘Bespoke Cooker,’ allowing anyone to easily prepare the meal kits at home. By using the ‘Scan Cook’ function, the optimal cooking settings set by Hotel Shilla’s chefs are automatically recognized by the device, enabling a luxurious meal to be enjoyed conveniently.
All released products feature Black Angus beef certified by CAB, a premium beef breed. CAB beef is an ingredient handled by high-end hotels and restaurants due to its excellent taste and strict production and distribution processes. The beef is aged in refrigerated conditions throughout the entire distribution process, maintaining its rich juice and tender texture until it reaches the dining table.
The two released products consist of a premium tenderloin steak with a richer and more luxurious flavor, featuring truffle (songro mushroom), one of the world’s three great delicacies, and a Perigueux sauce made with Madeira wine, and a premium grilled short rib patty made exclusively with high-priced galbisal (rib meat), offering a rich texture and juicy flavor.
