[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Music powerhouses such as singer Lim Young-woong and IU (Lee Ji-eun) gather in one place.

Kakao Entertainment announced on the 24th that "Lim Young-woong, Heize, and Lee Mujin will appear at MMA2021 (Melon Music Awards 2021) hosted by the music platform Melon."

Lim Young-woong, boasting music power that transcends generations, reached the highest chart position of 9th on November 15 with "Love Always Runs Away," released last October. This song, released as the OST for the drama "Gentleman and Lady," proved Lim Young-woong's strength by achieving great success on the charts as well as the drama's popularity.

In addition, many songs by Lim Young-woong, including the digital single "My Love Like Starlight" released last March, "HERO," "Trust Me Now," and several tracks released during his appearance on the variety show "Love Call Center," have charted.

Furthermore, Lee Mujin, who gained recognition after appearing on JTBC's "Sing Again" last year, emerged as a new music powerhouse by topping the Melon chart with his self-composed song "Traffic Light," released in May this year.

Before Lee Mujin, Heize, and Lim Young-woong, IU confirmed her attendance at MMA2021 for the first time in four years, attracting attention.

IU plans to stage a performance themed "The Door Connecting the End of the 20s and the Beginning of the 30s," through which she will reveal an 8-member band version of her new song "Strawberry Moon," released on October 19.
