‘K-Musical International Market’ Held at Yesul-ui Jeondang
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Hwang Hee), together with the Arts Management Support Center (CEO Moon Young-ho, hereinafter referred to as Yegyeong) and the Seoul Arts Center (President Yoo In-taek, hereinafter referred to as Yedang), will hold the ‘K-Musical International Market’ at the Seoul Arts Center from November 24 to 26.
This event will feature an investment briefing session called ‘Musical Dream’ and a showcase session called ‘Musical Presentation.’ In ‘Musical Dream,’ investment proposals will be made for a total of 22 works (including unfinished works) selected through a public contest held in the first half of the year. In ‘Musical Presentation,’ six works will be read or key scenes will be demonstrated.
Additionally, various exchange events such as one-on-one business consultations and investment meetings, as well as academic conferences and roundtable discussions, and lectures by overseas experts aimed at discovering and nurturing next-generation musical directors will be held to discuss ways to attract domestic and international investment in Korean musicals and to promote overseas expansion.

In particular, prominent musical producers currently active in the English-speaking world, including Cody Lassen, Jack M. Dalgleish, Jane Bergere, and Chris Grady, will be invited to enhance the understanding of domestic production companies seeking overseas expansion and to support securing overseas networks.
