Gwangju Office of Education Hosts '2021 Gwangju Teachers' Arts Festival'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] The Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education will hold the '2021 Gwangju Teachers' Arts Festival' on the 24th at 6 PM at the Gwangju Student Education and Culture Center Performance Hall.
According to the Office of Education on the 22nd, the '2021 Gwangju Teachers' Arts Festival' was planned to deliver a message of hope to the citizens of Gwangju in the with-COVID era, preparing for a phased return to normal life.
Thirteen teacher clubs will perform at this arts festival. A variety of performances such as ukulele playing, acoustic guitar ensemble, saxophone ensemble, orchestra, Nongak (traditional Korean farmer's music), Pungmul, Korean traditional music, symphony orchestra, fan dance, tap dance, line dance, K-POP dance, and band will be showcased.
The performances will also be produced as video content and shared on the Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education's YouTube channel.
