Samsung Display Opens Dedicated Micro Site for OLED
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] Samsung Display unveiled a dedicated global micro-site for OLED on the 22nd, where visitors can view OLED technology, trends, multimedia, news, and more at a glance.
On the same day, Samsung Display launched the OLED-dedicated global micro-site. The site, available in three languages?Korean, English, and Chinese?is designed to provide information on the basic principles of OLED, the unique advantages optimized for individual applications, various video content, tech media, and evaluations from overseas influencers related to Samsung OLED.
A Samsung Display official stated, "As the OLED market expands with the recent increase in applications such as foldable devices and laptops, consumer interest in OLED is also rising. Through the establishment of this dedicated site offering diverse information including OLED appeal points and expert evaluations of OLED-adopted products, we aim to actively promote the excellence of OLED to end consumers in small and medium-sized products."
Samsung Display will hold a site launch event on its official social network service (SNS) channels. They plan to receive congratulatory messages and site operation ideas from followers on Samsung Display’s Korean and English Facebook pages as well as the Chinese Weibo, and will conduct a raffle to award prizes.

Meanwhile, Samsung Display has been focusing on expanding consumer touchpoints through SNS-based communication channels. Samsung Display’s Korean and English Facebook pages have 200,000 followers, YouTube has 110,000 subscribers, and the Chinese Weibo account, launched in 2015, recently surpassed 2.32 million followers. The integrated page views of the Korean and global newsrooms, established in 2017, currently stand at 6 million.
