[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] On the 19th at 1:30 PM, Shin Jong-woo, Deputy Mayor of Jinju City, held the '2022 Government and Gyeongnam Province Joint Evaluation 2nd Countermeasure Report Meeting' at the City Hall Citizen Hall.
The joint evaluation is a comprehensive assessment conducted by Gyeongnam Province on 18 cities and counties within the province, evaluating the implementation performance of major national policies and provincial priority projects. This year, the evaluation will be conducted using a total of 122 indicators, including 88 government joint evaluation linked indicators and 34 provincial priority project indicators.
The report meeting focused on identifying issues by reviewing excellent cases in the qualitative evaluation sector and checking the progress of indicators with poor performance, and on preparing measures to improve outcomes.
Deputy Mayor Shin Jong-woo stated, "The joint evaluation involves policies closely related to citizens' lives, and proactive work for citizens will lead to good results in the joint evaluation as well," adding, "Since this is an external evaluation of local governments' capabilities, each department should take responsibility and do their best to achieve the top institution status."

A Jinju City official said, "During the remaining period of this year, we plan to secure as much performance as possible through continuous consulting with the staff in charge, and regarding qualitative indicators, we will re-examine the suitability of excellent cases and supplement any insufficient parts."
