On the 19th, the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency's Office of Audit, Inspection, and Human Rights, along with the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, Sejung Nanum, and Munam Scholarship Foundation, delivered 30 million KRW in sponsorship funds to 27 children from families victimized by crimes such as child abuse.
Last September, as part of the support project for child victims of crime, the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency signed a business agreement with the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, Sejung Nanum, and Munam Scholarship Foundation.
When the police discover and recommend child victims of crime to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, the private foundations review the cases to ensure that the victims receive prompt support.
The Busan police plan to provide tailored support in cooperation with public and private sectors when they find children in crisis due to crime victimization.
