"How about 'Vegan Day' every Friday?"… hy enters the alternative meat market
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] hy is partnering with the plant-based innovative food company ‘Organica’ to promote a vegan project called ‘Predit×Organica.’ The aim is to propose new trends in the vegan market and encourage vegan eating habits for the environment and customer health.
This project will be carried out through collaboration between the two companies to develop exclusive products and hold a ‘Vegan Day’ event every Friday. On Vegan Day, in addition to the products, a ‘Vegan Brunch Set’ composed of popular items and goods from both companies will be introduced.
The first products are ‘Plant Meal 2 types.’ They consist of ‘Plant Meal Hamburg Steak & Veggie’ and ‘Plant Meal Meatball Pasta & Veggie.’ Both are vegan convenience foods that contain no animal-derived ingredients.
The hamburg steak and meatballs are plant-based meat substitutes made using 100% plant-based ingredients such as plant-based beef flavor, soy protein, and palm oil, replicating the flavor and texture of real meat. Additionally, various side ingredients like broccoli, pumpkin, and potatoes are added to enjoy both rich taste and nutrition.
