On the morning of the 2022 College Scholastic Ability Test day, an emergency transportation operation was conducted across various locations in the Gyeongnam region to assist examinees facing the risk of being late.
At around 6:50 a.m. that day, the Jindong Police Substation under Masan Jungbu Police Station received an urgent request for help from an examinee who said they had left their wristwatch at home.
The police officer on duty at the time took off his own wristwatch and lent it to the student, wishing them success in the exam.
In Seongsan-gu, Changwon City, at around 7:32 a.m., a 112 report was received from an examinee stating that they could not catch a taxi near the bus stop by Namsan-dong Daebangdongseong Apartment. The police officer dispatched to the scene transported the examinee 6.4 km to Gyeongil High School.
In Yangsan City, at around 7:55 a.m., an examinee living in Jungbu-dong requested help via 112, saying they would likely arrive late at the test site. The police immediately responded and drove the examinee 3 km to Yangsan High School in Bukbu-dong.
