Winner of the Overall Comprehensive Award and Social Contribution Content Category
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jin-ho] Woori Bank announced on the 18th that it won the ‘Overall Grand Prize’ and the ‘Digital Content Award in the Social Contribution (CSR) Content Category’ at the Korea Communication Awards.
Now in its 14th year, the ‘Korea Communication Awards’ is hosted by the Korea Internet Communication Association and officially supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea. It is the most prestigious award recognizing companies that have demonstrated outstanding achievements in communication with customers by evaluating social network service (SNS) communication indices and content competitiveness indices.
Woori Bank explained that since March, it has received excellent evaluations through the SNS financial campaign ‘Let’s Brighten Money’ under the theme of ‘Supporting the confident financial life of the MZ generation,’ as well as on SNS channels including its brand media YouTube channel ‘Wootube,’ leading to its winning of the Overall Grand Prize.
Additionally, in collaboration with Bangguseok Research Institute, the customer participation SNS campaign ‘#Remember_the_Path’ commemorating the spirit of independence activists on Samiljeol (Independence Movement Day) synergized with the MZ generation’s trend of ‘positive influence,’ earning the ‘Digital Content Award in the Social Contribution (CSR) Content Category.’
