View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 17th that it has signed a "Technology Transfer Brokerage Agreement to Promote Technology Transfer and Commercialization" with the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Pyeongtaek University (Director Kim Ho-hyun, hereinafter referred to as Pyeongtaek University).
This agreement was made to establish an organic cooperation system necessary to support the spread of excellent technologies to small and medium venture companies and promote commercialization, and to mutually cooperate to enhance the technological competitiveness of small and medium venture companies and promote technology commercialization.
Kibo has established eight Technology Innovation Centers nationwide to drive technological innovation and growth of small and medium venture companies, performing technology transfer, technology evaluation, and supporting commercialization platforms for excellent technologies owned by universities and research institutes.
In particular, by utilizing the technology matching system Tech-Bridge, Kibo operates a comprehensive support system to facilitate the transfer and commercialization of excellent technologies owned by universities and public research institutes, which are outcomes of national research and development (R&D).
