Gibo-Gwangju Technopark Join Hands to Promote Commercialization of Gwangju SMEs
Supporting Innovative Growth of Small and Medium Enterprises in Gwangju Metropolitan City through Patent Technology Valuation and Technology Guarantee Linked Support
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 17th that it has signed a 'Guarantee-Linked Patent Technology Valuation Support Program Business Agreement' with Gwangju Technopark (Director Kim Seon-min, hereinafter referred to as Gwangju TP).
This agreement was established to promote the commercialization of patented technologies by discovering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Gwangju Metropolitan City that possess excellent patented technologies and strengthening financial support through the establishment of a technology transaction promotion network.
According to the agreement, when Gwangju TP recommends SMEs in Gwangju Metropolitan City with excellent patented technologies to Kibo, Kibo plans to actively support the innovative growth of these SMEs through comprehensive support such as patent technology valuation, customized guarantee support, and technology transfer.
Additionally, Kibo and Gwangju TP intend to create synergy through the rapid discovery of SMEs in Gwangju Metropolitan City possessing excellent patented technologies and mutual exchange of technology evaluation experts, and will also provide non-financial services such as promoting the activation of the technology transaction promotion network for the discovered companies.
