Gyeongsang National University Hosts 'Humanities Concert' for Jinju Citizens
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Gyeongsang National University announced on the 15th that it will hold a 'Humanities Concert' at 4:30 PM on the 18th at the GNU Convention Center on the Gajwa Campus.
This concert is organized by the 'Humanities City Jinju Project Group,' which is operated through a cooperative system between Gyeongsang National University and Jinju City, as part of the '16th Humanities Week' event.
The first stage of the performance, themed "The Path of Humanities in the COVID Era - Recovery of Daily Life," will be opened by the Gyeongsang National University alumni singing group 'Maekbak.'
Following them, rapper Glen Choi, street dancer Ko Juhye, world music band Jenna Tango, and flamenco artist Youngja will perform, expected to bring comfort and joy to the citizens of Jinju and university members weary from COVID-19.
'Humanities Week' is an annual humanities festival conducted by the Humanities City Jinju Project Group in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea. Only those who have completed COVID-19 vaccination are allowed to attend the concert.
