[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] The Democratic Party of Korea's Election Countermeasures Committee released the 119 call recording file from five days ago regarding the fall accident of Kim Hyekyung, the spouse of presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung.
Kim Byung-gi, head of the committee's Task Force (TF) for urgent issue response, disclosed the 50-second call recording file obtained with the candidate's consent.
According to the recording, the candidate said, "I have acute gastroenteritis and my face is torn, so I need to go to the emergency room," and requested, "Please send an ambulance quickly." The ambulance arrived at the residence at around 1:16 a.m., 10 minutes after the candidate's report, and reached the hospital at approximately 1:31 a.m.

The committee's disclosure of this call content appears to be in response to the spread of fake news related to the incident. Kim Byung-gi, head of the TF, stated, "Despite repeated explanations and evidence presentation, malicious fake news continued, so we decided to additionally disclose the 119 report contents excluding personal information."
