This year, KOSME conducted a contest focusing on three areas for institutional innovation, change and development, and ESG (environment, social, governance) management: ▲ Digital Green Innovation Leadership ▲ Social Responsibility ▲ Regional Development. A total of 89 cases discovered by the headquarters and field departments underwent internal and external evaluations, and nine cases were selected as final candidates. The competition was held on the 9th at the headquarters in Jinju, Gyeongnam.
In the final evaluation, the results of an online pre-evaluation by all employees, the KOSME judging panel evaluation (30 internal and external evaluators), and a mobile evaluation by a public participation group composed of general citizens and small business owners were combined to select the final three winners (Grand Prize, Excellence Award, Encouragement Award).
The Grand Prize was awarded to 'Public-Private Joint Efforts to Pioneer Export Routes for Small Businesses (Online Export Division Manager Kim Hyung-woon),' which enhanced the logistics difficulty resolution system through public-private collaboration by reducing freight costs and establishing express delivery services. This was highly recognized for its swift response to the export crisis of small and medium ventures caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic by continuously collecting difficulties and actively establishing a cooperative system with related organizations and the private sector.
The Excellence Award went to 'Innovation of Policy Finance Services through Non-Face-to-Face and Digitalization of Policy Funds (Corporate Finance Division Manager Seok Yoon-gi),' and the Encouragement Award was given to 'Establishment of Technology and Finance Support Platform for Fostering the Future Mobility Industry in Gyeongnam (Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters Manager Noh Tae-kyung).'
