Bae Sang-yoon, KH Group Chairman, Makes Generous Donation for Development Fund in Hometown Yeonggwang
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Bae Sang-yoon, chairman of KH Group, visited his hometown during a vacation and made a generous donation for the local residents, spreading warmth.
According to Yeonggwang County and Songido on the 12th, Chairman Bae visited Songido, Nakwol-myeon, his hometown Yeonggwang, at the end of September to spend his vacation.
Captivated by the kindness of the residents and the outstanding natural scenery, Chairman Bae is known to have generously donated 50 million won as a regional development fund.
In addition, it was reported that he gifted household lighting fixtures to all 60 households residing on the island.
The donation made by Chairman Bae is expected to be used for the creation of convenience facilities for the residents.
Meanwhile, KH Group is known as a strong global group with over 40 affiliates in 15 countries, including two KOSPI-listed companies and three KOSDAQ-listed companies.
It also operates the Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel and Jangwon Tech Co., Ltd., and signed a contract to acquire the Pyeongchang Alpensia Resort, which hosted the 2018 Winter Olympics, with the final acquisition scheduled for February next year.
