Good Neighbors-Kyobo Life Insurance Launch Season 2 of 'Youth Soccer Dream Support Project' for Book and Mountainous Areas
Delivery of Soccer Equipment Worth 6 Million Won for Soccer Dreamers at Hanam Jungang Elementary School
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Chunsu Kim] Good Neighbors Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters (Director Bae Jun-yeol) announced on the 3rd that, with the sponsorship of Kyobo Life Insurance (CEO Shin Chang-jae), it will carry out a support project for soccer hopefuls among youth in island and mountainous areas in cooperation with Hanam Jungang Elementary School (Principal Park Sang-seok).
The support project for soccer hopefuls among youth in island and mountainous areas, jointly conducted by Good Neighbors and Kyobo Life Insurance, is a continuous initiative to help talented youth in soccer from these regions realize their dreams.
In the first half of 2021, the project supported soccer teams from seven elementary and middle schools in Gangwon, Chungcheong, and Gwangju Jeonnam regions, and in the second half, customized programs will be provided to six additional elementary and middle school soccer teams.
Good Neighbors Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters will provide soccer equipment worth approximately 6 million won, including soccer shoes, bags, and training supplies (ladders, hurdles), to 20 female soccer team members of Hanam Jungang Elementary School, selected as beneficiaries of the support project for soccer hopefuls among youth in island and mountainous areas.
This support is expected to reduce economic burdens, boost morale through the provision of team uniforms, and lead to improved performance and other positive outcomes.
Bae Jun-yeol, Director of Good Neighbors Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters, said, "We hope this support will create a more stable training environment for the Hanam Jungang Elementary School soccer team," and added, "We will continue to strive to bridge the gap in growth environments for children in the local community."
Park Joo-jung, Education Director of Gwangju Western Education Support Office, stated, "We will do our best together with Good Neighbors Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters to create a community where children can realize their dreams and talents."
