Namwondaum Center to Operate 'Media Facade' at Night Starting from the 5th
[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-kwon] Jeonbuk Namwon City (Mayor Lee Hwan-joo) announced on the 3rd that the Namwon-daum Center, which preserves the memories of Namwon in records, will operate a media facade at night for one month starting from the 5th.
The media facade is one of the 'Namwon-it-da' contents created with 200 million KRW in national funds, selected through the '2021 Regional Specialized Content Development Support Project' (Jeonbuk Content Convergence Promotion Agency · Design Valley). It recreates Lee Mong-ryong's love for Chunhyang in vibrant colors and splendid visuals on the outer wall of the Namwon-daum Center.
Also, using the building's outer wall as a screen to provide various contents as a nighttime attraction, the Namwon-daum Center will screen three times every Friday and Saturday for one month starting from the 5th (7:00 PM, 7:30 PM, 8:00 PM). The program includes 'Part 1: Namwon Bicycle Story' and 'Part 2: Lee Mong-ryong's Dream,' each lasting 15 minutes.
The city plans to continuously discover local stories in line with the purpose of the Namwon-daum Center, which preserves the records of Namwon's modern and contemporary life, and present media facades that recreate various aspects of life in Namwon.
Located near Gwanghallu Garden and Namwon Yechon, representative tourist sites of Namwon, the 'Namwon-daum Center' features exhibitions of Namwon's modern and contemporary records and various experiential contents. It operates from Tuesday to Sunday every week and is open free of charge from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Mayor Lee Hwan-joo said, "The media facade expressed under the beautiful Namwon night sky is expected to creatively present the unique stories of the region and provide citizens and tourists with a new visual experience."
