Doosan Establishes Group Portfolio Division... Appoints President Kim Dowon

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunjin Jung] Doosan Group announced on the 1st that it has established a 'Group Portfolio General Management' division within Doosan Corporation's holding division and appointed Kim Dowon, the Seoul Managing Partner of Boston Consulting Group (BCG), as President.
President Kim will be responsible for establishing the overall business vision and strategy of the group and carrying out portfolio restructuring.
Born in 1969, President Kim graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Virginia in 1991 and a Master's degree in the same field in 1993. He earned an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2000. He joined Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in 1995 and has been in charge of the energy business sector for about 25 years. Since 2019, he has served as the Seoul Managing Partner of BCG.

Earlier, on the 28th of last month, Doosan Group appointed President Moon Hongseong as CBO of Doosan Corporation's business division and President Jung Hyungrak as the new CEO of Doosan Fuel Cell, which focuses on hydrogen fuel cells for power generation as its main business.
