70-Year-Old Woman Killed After Being Hit by Bus at Crosswalk in Songpa-gu
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] On the 29th at around 10:30 a.m., an accident occurred near the crosswalk by Bokjeong Station in Jangji-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, where a woman in her 70s was caught under a 15-passenger bus.
According to the fire department and police, firefighters who responded to the report rescued the woman trapped between the front and rear wheels of the vehicle, performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and transported her to a nearby hospital, but she passed away.
