Assemblyman Woo Seung-hee, while serving as a member of the Jeonnam Provincial Council, carried out various activities to strengthen local decentralization and regional innovation capabilities. He was recognized for his significant contributions to the party's development by leading efforts for the region's autonomous growth and national balanced development, receiving the first-class award.
Through Facebook, Assemblyman Woo expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thanks to the support of the residents, I will work even harder to establish the 4th Democratic government."
In the 10th Provincial Council, Assemblyman Woo served as the chairman of the Jeonnam Youth Development Special Committee and a member of the Jeonnam Local Decentralization Promotion Council. In the 11th Provincial Council, he is serving as the chairman of the Jeonnam Provincial Council's Climate Crisis Response and Green New Deal Special Committee and the chairman of the Jeonnam Social Innovation Platform Expert Committee.

He has been active in promoting national balanced development through initiatives such as pushing for the establishment of the Jeonnam Youth Center, urging regional talent recruitment at Korea Energy Engineering University, and leading proposals for the enactment of the Jeollanam-do Social Innovation Activation Ordinance and the introduction of the Hometown Tax (Hometown Love Donation System).
