[Featured Stocks] Disney+ Love Call... Spotlight on Jcontentree and NEW Beneficiaries
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] As the domestic launch date of the online video service (OTT) Disney Plus approaches, domestic content stocks are showing an upward trend.
At 10:07 a.m. on the 18th, J Contentree was traded at 61,800 KRW, up 6.55% from the previous trading day. On the same day, NEW also rose 8.99% to trade at 14,550 KRW.
Amid the recent increase in global demand for K-content, it is analyzed that J Contentree's stock price was positively influenced by its sales to Disney Plus and its possession of the next lineup of Netflix originals. The company plans to release the horror series "Jigok" next month and the zombie series "Jigeum Uri Hakgyoneun" in January next year through Netflix.
