Galaxia Metaverse Partners with Hakgojae Gallery, a 30-Year Art History Archive, for NFT Business
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Blockchain specialist company Galaxia Metaverse announced on the 18th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to commercialize artworks from Hakgojae Gallery (CEO Woo Chankyu), a representative of the Korean art world, as NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens).
Through this, Galaxia Metaverse has secured extensive IP in the art field, gaining differentiated competitiveness. The MOU signing was also joined by Galaxia SM, a sports marketing specialist company.
Hakgojae is a gallery that has led the Korean art market by holding over 200 exhibitions in 30 years since its opening, based on the philosophy of "learning from the old to create the new." With the NFT business agreement with Hakgojae, Galaxia Metaverse will be able to present artworks by artists affiliated with Hakgojae as NFTs.
Galaxia Metaverse stated, "The digital artworks showcased on our company's NFT platform teaser site, 'MetaGalaxia,' have received positive evaluations," adding, "By securing artworks and exhibition IP from artists affiliated with Hakgojae Gallery, which has led the Korean art world for 30 years, we will provide NFT artworks across various fields."

Meanwhile, Galaxia Metaverse is a blockchain business subsidiary of fintech specialist Galaxia Moneytree. Ahead of the official launch of the curation-based NFT platform 'MetaGalaxia' this November, it is conducting pre-events such as an airdrop offering free NFTs of marathon emperor Lee Bong-ju.
