Dongmyung University LINC+ Project Group Corporate Collaboration Center and Korea Industrial Complex Corporation Convergence Component Material MC signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Dongmyung University LINC+ Project Group Corporate Collaboration Center (ICC) signed a business agreement with the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation Convergence Component Materials MC on the 14th at the Oriental Hotel in Jeju for regional industry-academia mutual growth development.
The university is creating a collaboration base with the private-led Convergence Component Materials MC (industry-academia-research council) to identify and resolve corporate management difficulties such as technology development, marketing, and technology management guidance.
The two organizations plan to pursue sustainable industry-academia cooperation through the establishment of cooperative systems and industry-academia-research-government networks.
They agreed to actively cooperate in ▲utilization of research and development equipment and joint technology development ▲consultation on technical difficulties and technology transfer ▲employment and field training of excellent personnel ▲development and operation of education programs for employees in industries.
The agreement signing took place during a workshop event for regional industry-academia mutual growth development between the LINC+ Project Group Corporate Collaboration Center and the Convergence Component Materials MC.
Jeon Tae-gu, chairman of the Convergence Component Materials MC, donated 4 million KRW to the Corporate Collaboration Center as a regional mutual growth development fund.
Dongmyung University LINC+ Project Group Director Shin Dong-seok said, “We will do our best to help revitalize the regional economy and promote industry-academia mutual growth by creating a collaboration base with the Convergence Component Materials MC, which consists of companies in the region’s key industries, and establishing an industry-academia network.”
