Changwon City Creates a Child-Friendly City... Seven Early Childhood Forest Experience Centers
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Ju Cheol-in] Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 15th that it has additionally established early childhood forest experience centers in Bongam-dong, Masanhwoin-gu, and Cheongan-dong, Jinhae-gu.
The city is conducting final preparations to officially operate them next year. With this, the number of early childhood forest experience centers in Changwon has increased to seven.
The city recently added adventure play facilities such as rope climbing walls, rope crossing, and rope climbing to the existing early childhood forest experience center located in Seongju-dong, Seongsan-gu.
Since 2018, the city has been continuously implementing a public early childhood forest experience center project to create a "child-friendly city." The city explained that professional early childhood forest instructors provide experience programs at the centers, resulting in high satisfaction among families with children.
