Home&Shopping Launches 'Overseas E-commerce Platform Entry Support Project'
Support for Export of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Partners Blocked from Overseas Markets Due to COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Home&Shopping has stepped up to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) struggling to develop overseas markets due to COVID-19. Home&Shopping (CEO Kim Ok-chan) announced on the 15th that it will carry out the 'Overseas E-commerce Platform Entry Support Project' to help SMEs develop overseas sales channels.
This support targets small and medium-sized partner companies that wish to engage in direct overseas sales activities through entry into overseas e-commerce platforms. Home&Shopping plans to select a total of 10 companies and support their entry into overseas e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Alibaba, Lazada, Rakuten, Qoo10, and Amazon.
The support items are divided into marketing support and certification support, and overlapping support for each item within the support fund is also possible. The support fund is up to 5 million KRW per company, and applications will be accepted until the 20th.
Since 2019, Home&Shopping has been selected as the lead company for the 'Large and Small Business Joint Entry Support Project' hosted by the Foundation for Large and Small Enterprises and Agriculture and Fisheries Cooperation, helping excellent SMEs develop overseas sales channels by launching partner products annually on Momo Home Shopping, a representative home shopping company in Taiwan.
