Kyochon Chicken Announces Results of the 'Chonseureobber Contest' Selection
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Kyochon F&B, the operator of Kyochon Chicken, announced on the 14th the selection of 100 winners for its social contribution project, the ‘Chonseureobeo (Chon’s lover) Selection Contest’.
The Chonseureobeo Selection Contest is a campaign to spread a culture of donation, sharing, and volunteering with Generation Z. It goes beyond the typical meaning of social contribution, which is helping and supporting those in need, aiming to spread a culture of sharing throughout society and deliver positive influence.
This selection was conducted through the ‘Thanks (THANKS) Story Cup’ story contest held throughout last month. Thanks Story Cup collects stories of gratitude and support for people whom participants wanted to express their feelings to, and selected stories are supported with a chicken-sharing campaign together with the applicants.
The judging panel included Generation Z members practicing donation, sharing, and volunteering culture, as well as representatives of social enterprises and influencers. The selection was made considering the suitability of the theme and the award. The final selected stories included those expressing support for hidden heroes of COVID-19, soldiers, local communities, and small business owners, as well as stories of gratitude toward groups such as schools for people with developmental disabilities and local children’s centers.
