A free artificial intelligence education platform service aimed at helping ‘Joorini (stock beginners)’ escape beginner status is being launched. This service objectively measures and diagnoses an individual's investment capabilities through AI and helps establish personalized investment principles and methods through customized content. The Korea Financial Investment Association will start the ‘R2 Plus’ education platform service on the 14th with these features.
The service consists of diagnostic services such as GI Diagnosis and Mini Diagnosis, as well as learning tools including a financial investment content mall and standard textbooks. First, by answering 30 GI Diagnosis questions via the internet or mobile, users receive a comprehensive personal investment diagnosis report covering their investment tendencies, behavioral biases, and investment knowledge. This report includes the GI Literacy Index (Good Investor Index), detailed diagnostic results by category, and comparative evaluation information against others.
Next, by taking the Mini Diagnosis, users can measure their understanding of overall financial investment concepts. Answering 20 questions based on the standard textbook provides detailed scores by category and knowledge levels through comparative evaluation information. After completing the diagnosis, users receive recommendations for customized e-learning content or can select preferred videos for study. The Korea Financial Investment Association has prepared high-quality content produced in-house as well as content created by leading securities firms and the National Investor Education Council.
A representative from the Korea Financial Investment Association stated, "Because AI performs and analyzes the process, accurate analysis and customized recommendations are possible even with a small number of questions," and added, "Through the repeated process of diagnosis and customized learning, investment capabilities can be effectively improved."
The Korea Financial Investment Association will carry out various projects to promote R2 Plus. Next month, in collaboration with the National University Student Investment Club Federation, they will launch the ‘R2 Plus Supporters’ to expand the university student user base. In December, they plan to broaden the foundation through business agreements with schools at all levels.

Na Jae-cheol, chairman of the Korea Financial Investment Association, said, "No matter how well laws like the Financial Consumer Protection Act are established, there are limits to protection if investors cannot protect themselves," and added, "R2 Plus will play a significant role in enabling investors to have equal power with financial investment companies and act as a ‘check and balance.’"
