'World Forest Congress' D-200 Days... To Be Held in Seoul Next May

According to the Korea Forest Service on the 14th, the World Forestry Congress is an international conference organized by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and is scheduled to be held at COEX in Seoul from May 2 to 6 next year.
The World Forestry Congress is held every six years, bringing together forestry officials from countries around the world to share global forestry and environmental issues and seek solutions.
All stakeholders including government, international organizations, academia, and industry attend this event. Those wishing to participate can apply through the official website of the "15th World Forestry Congress," and early registration discounts are available until the 30th of next month.
During the World Forestry Congress, an exhibition hall will be set up on-site where visitors can view the latest forestry policies, technologies, and products from around the world.
Applications for participation can be made through the official website of the "15th World Forestry Congress" until the end of this year. Additionally, companies that have been dedicated to social contribution activities in the forestry and environmental sectors can participate in sponsorship through one-on-one customized consultations with the Korea Forest Service World Forestry Congress Planning Team.
Meanwhile, ahead of next year's World Forestry Congress, the Korea Forest Service will jointly hold an online event with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization from the 14th of this month to the 22nd of next month.
The online event can be participated in by posting a recommended mountain or forest as a mandatory keyword on personal Instagram or Facebook.
The Korea Forest Service will also hold a lottery event for participants, selecting 50 people to receive commemorative gifts.

Park Eun-sik, head of the World Forestry Congress Planning Team, said, "Our country hosted this congress based on the globally recognized successful experience of forest restoration," adding, "We will make every effort to prepare for the World Forestry Congress over the next 200 days and, through this, strengthen South Korea's diplomatic position in the forestry sector in the international community to lead global forestry policies."
