'Jang Damgeuneun Nal,' an official invited work of the 11th DIMF Daegu International Musical Festival, is a joyful and warm story that allows audiences to feel family love through episodes occurring in a 100-year-old head family house.
The work deals with conflicts and reconciliation between the older generation, who value tradition, and the younger generation through our traditional 'jang' (fermented sauces). It combines artistic and creative excellence, having won the Original Musical Award at the 10th DIMF Daegu International Musical Festival.
Hosted by Gyeongnam National University and organized by the Changwon Cultural Foundation, this musical involves over 60 students and faculty members from the Department of Cultural Contents at Gyeongnam National University. Students prepared all aspects of the production, from acting to planning, stage, sound, ensemble, costumes, and design.
The performances will be held twice daily from the 29th, and admission is free.
