Neurofit Partners with Vibrown Korea to Develop AI Solution for Hydrocephalus Diagnosis and Surgical Support
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Neurofit, an AI solution company specializing in brain diseases, announced on the 13th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with B. Braun Korea, a global healthcare solutions company, to jointly develop an AI solution for the diagnosis and surgical support of hydrocephalus.
Neurofit is a company developing comprehensive AI-based solutions for diagnosis, treatment planning, and the entire treatment cycle of brain diseases, possessing outstanding technology in the field of dementia diagnosis through brain imaging analysis. Neurofit plans to actively develop an AI-based brain structure analysis technology for hydrocephalus diagnosis solutions.
The flagship product, ‘NEUROPHET AQUA,’ segments and analyzes brain MRIs, reconstructs them into 3D models, and measures volume to indicate the degree of brain atrophy. It produces objective reports from the analysis results, allowing the assessment of brain atrophy levels that are difficult to distinguish visually, and enables accurate and detailed analysis of MRI T1-weighted and Flair images, which are primarily used in dementia diagnosis.
B. Braun is a German global healthcare company with about 180 years of history, providing healthcare solutions worldwide in 16 treatment areas including neurosurgery, general surgery, orthopedics, and cardiovascular diseases.
B. Braun Korea, which signed the contract with Neurofit, entered the Korean market in 1990 and provides safer healthcare solutions for patients and more convenient solutions for medical staff based on the corporate philosophy of ‘Sharing Expertise.’
Neurofit is responsible for the technical development of AI solutions capable of diagnosing hydrocephalus based on AI-based brain structure analysis technology. B. Braun Korea will analyze unmet needs of medical staff and share know-how and disease information to provide higher quality medical services in diagnosis and surgery.
