In 2019, Lotte Mart collaborated with Mungyeong Nonghyup to launch about 20 tons of Gamhong apples under the premium brand Hwanggeumdangdo. Last year, approximately 60 tons of the product were sold out. This year, they plan to purchase about 100 tons to expand the market for the domestic native variety Gamhong apples.
Hwanggeumdangdo is Lotte Mart's premium brand that carefully selects and presents only products that meet its own standards among fruits with about 20% higher sugar content than regular fruits, new varieties, or those cultivated using differentiated farming methods.
