Elementary Student Reported Missing from School Found Dead... Father in Coma
[Asia Economy Reporter Na Ye-eun] A teenage girl elementary school student living alone with her father in a multi-family house in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, was found dead, prompting the police to launch an investigation. The father, found at the scene, was discovered in an unconscious state.
According to the Suwon Nambu Police Station, around 11 a.m. on the 5th, 13-year-old elementary school student A was found dead in a multi-family house in Gwonseon-dong, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon City.
At the scene, B, a man in his late 30s and A's father, was found collapsed with a wound on his neck believed to have been caused by a sharp weapon. B was transported to the hospital and has not regained consciousness.
Earlier, the police responded to a report from a teacher stating that "A had been absent without leave and could not be contacted by her guardian."
According to the police, A lived alone with her father B, no signs of intrusion by an outsider were found, and A's body showed no significant external injuries.
