Police University and Korea Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute Hold Joint Academic Seminar on Public Safety Research and Development
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] On the 6th, the Korean National Police University held a joint academic seminar with the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute of Korea under the theme "Hyperconnected Society, the Vision of the Korean National Police University for Advancing Police Research and Development (R&D)."
At the seminar, presentations and discussions were held on four topics led by the Korean National Police University’s Crime Investigation Research Institute and the Police Data Science Research Center, along with the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute’s Defense and Safety Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Research Group: ▲Interactive Police Knowledge Service Police Chatbot ▲Detection and analysis technology for undercover investigations of cyber threat crimes ▲Review of the applicability of facial recognition technology in criminal investigations ▲A study on risk factors and protective factors of child abuse within the home.
