11 New COVID-19 Cases in Gwangju... Most Are Quarantined Individuals
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Eleven new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Gwangju.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City as of 2 p.m. on the 5th, 11 people tested positive and were newly registered as cases number 5093 to 5103.
Except for two, nine were confirmed positive while in quarantine.
Three cases are related to a daycare center in Nam-gu, two cases are related to an administrative order on job placement agencies, one case is related to foreigner testing in Gwangsan-gu, one case is related to a medical institution in Dong-gu, three cases had contact with previously confirmed patients, and one case is related to confirmed patients from other cities or provinces.
Recently in the Gwangju area, 366 confirmed cases have been reported related to foreigner testing in Gwangsan-gu, 108 cases related to workplaces employing foreigners, 15 cases related to the administrative order on job placement agencies, and 10 cases related to entertainment facilities in Seo-gu.
