On the 4th (local time), the Nobel Committee at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden announced that they decided to award the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine to them in recognition of their discovery of temperature and touch receptors. The winners will receive a prize of 10 million kronor (approximately 1.35 billion won).
