Kakao Taxi Franchise Association and KM Solution Sign 'Win-Win' Business Agreement
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] The Kakao Taxi Franchisee Council announced on the 1st that it signed a win-win cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) related to KakaoT with KM Solution, a subsidiary of Kakao Mobility's transportation franchise business, on the 30th. This is the first of its kind nationwide.
The Franchisee Council is the nation's first franchise taxi owner council, voluntarily established in May by 103 transportation companies coming together.
With this MOU signing, the Franchisee Council will hold its first regular meeting with KM Solution in October.
The Franchisee Council stated that both parties will respect each other as important business partners and strive to ensure that the newly rooted franchise taxi business develops a healthy business structure through mutual checks and cooperation.
They also added that communication will be strengthened to create a progressive model for the current franchise taxi, which operates as an intermediary platform.
Im Sang-won, a member of the Franchisee Council, said, "I hope this MOU will be the first step for the voices of franchisees to be accurately conveyed and for the diverse opinions from the field to reach the franchise headquarters, so that all parties involved in the franchise business can coexist and be happy."
