Bank of Korea Hosts UCC Contest to Promote Economic Awareness Among Youth
Applications Accepted from October 18 to November 22
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] The Bank of Korea is holding a UCC (User Created Content) contest to help teenagers understand economics.
On the 30th, the Bank of Korea announced that it will hold this contest for middle and high school students, university (graduate) students, and teenagers under the age of 24 nationwide. The submission period is from October 18 to November 22.
For this contest, participants are required to create UCCs that can be used as social media content such as card news, cuttoons, and videos, referring to topics including ▲ Korea's monetary policy ▲ Korea's financial market ▲ Easy-to-understand explanations of economic indicators ▲ 700 economic and financial terms ▲ Easy-to-understand economic stories.

The Bank of Korea will evaluate the entries mainly based on relevance to the theme, originality, and completeness, and plans to announce the winners on its website in early December. One grand prize winner will receive a commendation from the Governor of the Bank of Korea and a cash prize of 3 million won, three excellence award winners will receive 1.5 million won each, and four encouragement award winners will receive 1 million won each.
