During the on-site inspection, he also checked the status of the target objects and fire vulnerability factors with officials from the Korea National Oil Corporation and reviewed the COVID-19 related quarantine situation.
Head Ma said, “Hazardous materials storage and handling facilities can escalate into major disasters from even minor negligence,” and added, “Please do your best in thorough preventive activities so that the facilities can operate under safe conditions.”
