Nongshim Releases Limited Edition Baeksansu to Support Children with Leukemia and Pediatric Cancer
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Nongshim launched a limited edition Baeksansu water to support children with leukemia and pediatric cancer on the 28th. Nongshim plans to sell it until the end of the year and donate 2.15% of the sales revenue to the Korea Leukemia Pediatric Cancer Association on World Pediatric Cancer Day (February 15) next year.
This limited edition features 15 award-winning artworks from a drawing contest held by Nongshim last February for children with leukemia and pediatric cancer printed on the labels. It offers the children a special experience of having their artwork printed on a product for sale, and it is expected to raise consumer awareness about children with leukemia and pediatric cancer.
A Nongshim official said, “We released the Baeksansu limited edition with the award-winning artworks to support children with leukemia and pediatric cancer and survivors, and to improve social awareness. We hope it provides some strength to the children fighting their illness.”

Since 2018, Nongshim has been supporting Baeksansu water for children with leukemia and pediatric cancer, whose immune systems are weakened, so they can drink water safely without financial burden. Currently, they send three boxes of 500ml Baeksansu water monthly to 300 families of patients, and carry out various charitable activities such as sending “Simsim Kits” as gifts on bone marrow transplant anniversaries, known as their second birthdays, and organizing “Simsim Trekking,” a walk to support the children.
