Samsung C&T Fashion Introduces New Women's Wear 'Cotello'
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Samsung C&T Fashion Division's new women's wear brand 'Kotelo' is making its debut.
Samsung C&T Fashion Division announced on the 27th that it will launch Kotelo, a high cost-performance daily wear brand aimed at millennial women (ages 25-35) who seek comfortable everyday life, on October 5th, and it will be sold on SSF Shop.
Following the launch of Guho Plus in September 2019, Samsung C&T Fashion Division plans to strengthen its women's wear online business by developing 'Kotelo' as an online channel-focused brand targeting millennial women. Kotelo means 'small house' in Finnish, symbolizing the comfort that wraps the body, which the brand pursues.
Under the slogan "Wear all your moments," Kotelo offers knit products mainly designed for millennial women who play various roles in society and at home, focusing on the most comfortable daily wear. The designs are versatile and comfortable to wear regardless of time and place.
In particular, Kotelo aims for high cost-performance and high quality by mainly using yarns developed in-house by Samsung C&T Fashion Division, focusing on offering "well-made good clothes" at reasonable prices.
The 2021 Fall/Winter season collection features knitwear made of merino wool blend material with excellent volume, light weight, and soft texture, including knit sets consisting of tops, pants, and skirts, knit dresses, and knit flat shoes made from recycled yarns. Prices range from 99,000 KRW for knit tops to 359,000 KRW for outerwear.
Kotelo will be launched primarily on SSF Shop and other online channels such as the fashion platform W Concept starting from the 5th of next month. Additionally, an offline pop-up store will be operated to provide opportunities to experience the brand directly.
