View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Homeplus announced on the 27th that it has launched the ‘Good Toilet Paper,’ an eco-friendly product that allows consumers to participate in environmental activities simply by purchasing the product.
Good Toilet Paper is a product developed by Homeplus in collaboration with its partner Daewang, incorporating eco-friendly values from the development stage. It is characterized by using 100% recycled raw materials made from milk cartons instead of pulp. It uses non-fluorescent raw materials without optical brighteners, and the packaging vinyl reduces unnecessary ink usage by applying one-color printing. The thick 3-ply embossing adds to the toilet paper’s naturally soft texture.
It is estimated that for every 100,000 packs of Good Toilet Paper sold, 390 tons of pulp usage will be saved, equivalent to planting 7,800 trees.
