[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] KT&G announced on the 24th that it will hold the ‘2021 My First Concert’ to provide growth opportunities for rookie musicians.
‘My First Concert’ is a program that selects talented rookie musicians and supports them in holding their first concert. It started in 2015 and is now in its 6th year. The program targets musicians who have never held a solo concert in a venue with more than 100 seats or those who have released their first full-length album but have not yet had the opportunity to perform solo.
Selected musicians receive support for venue rental fees at the ‘KT&G Sangsangmadang Hongdae’ live hall, as well as special benefits for concert promotion and marketing. Additionally, they are provided with profile photos and live concert video shooting benefits that can be used even after the performance.
This year, six teams were selected as the main performers through strict evaluation by experts, verifying live performance skills and genre diversity.
