Hyundai Department Store Duty Free, Delivers Easy Meal Kits for Low-Income Elderly

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Hyundai Department Store Duty Free announced on the 16th that it has delivered 250 'Holiday Gift Kits' to the Seoul Community Chest of Korea to support low-income elderly people who are struggling with daily life due to the prolonged social distancing ahead of Chuseok.
The 'Holiday Gift Kits' consist of ready-to-eat meals such as instant rice and soup that are easy for the elderly to prepare, and will be distributed to 250 low-income households aged 60 or older living in Gangnam-gu and Jung-gu in Seoul, as well as the Incheon area, through social workers.

A Hyundai Department Store Duty Free official said, "We support food and other items for low-income elderly people every Chuseok with the hope that they can spend the holiday a little warmer," adding, "We plan to continue various social contribution activities that can provide practical help to the local community."
