Lotte Card Launches KakaoPage PLCC... "5% Cashback on Content Payments"
'Solo Leveling' Hologram Sticker Giveaway for the First 3,000 People
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Lotte Card announced on the 15th that it has partnered with Kakao Entertainment to launch the private label credit card (PLCC) 'KakaoPage Lotte Card.'
This card features a 5% cashback on payments for various KakaoPage content such as webtoons, web novels, movies, and dramas. If the usage amount last month was 300,000 KRW or more, a special cashback of 5% up to 2,000 KRW per transaction and a maximum of 30,000 KRW per month is provided when purchasing content or charging cash on the official KakaoPage website or application (app). For other domestic and international merchants, a general cashback of 0.5% is given. Even if the usage amount last month was less than 300,000 KRW, a general cashback benefit of 0.2% is provided at domestic and international merchants. Cashback benefits are provided up to a maximum of 300,000 KRW per month.
The card design consists of three types: the 'Heartthrob Card' and 'Action Card,' which look like scenes taken from webtoons, and the 'Black Card,' which prominently features the KakaoPage logo on the front. The first 3,000 people to receive this card will also be given a 'Solo Leveling' hologram sticker.
The annual fee is 15,000 KRW (domestic only/overseas compatible).

A Lotte Card official said, "The KakaoPage Lotte Card is a PLCC product specialized for 'digital content platforms' that provide various story-centered services such as webtoons and web novels," adding, "The two companies plan to continue expanding strategic partnerships and provide customized services in various areas through data analysis."
