[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] ResearchAlum analyzed on the 13th that SPG will start generating sales of medium-sized geared motors for small-lot, multi-product production from the second half of this year.
Donghyun Lee, Senior Researcher at ResearchAlum, explained, "Previously, we sold small-sized geared motors with low output," adding, "From the second half of the year, delivery of medium-sized geared motors for logistics automation equipment is scheduled."
He continued, "Previously, Japanese geared motors were used, but SPG's medium-sized geared motors are expected to replace them," and added, "Delivery to domestic logistics automation equipment companies has also been approved."
Furthermore, he emphasized, "We expect sales to start in earnest from the second half of this year," and "We also anticipate new entry into the cleanroom market such as semiconductors."
He stressed, "Currently, we have started supplying motors and fans for cleanrooms as single products to Sinsung ENG and Wonbang Tech," and "We are currently conducting tests on controllers."
The researcher analyzed, "Sales of the SH reducer for robots, which is a core part of SPG's valuation, are gradually becoming visible," and "We have completed the quality test of the ultra-small SH reducer for the domestic robot company Rainbow Robotics."
He added, "SPG's technology is evaluated to be at the global 2nd to 3rd level," and "Having passed the quality test of Raon Tech, the references for robot reducers are gradually expanding."
