Among them, 95% are severely developmentally disabled, all working as full-time employees. Notably, even during the employment market contraction caused by the COVID-19 pandemic last year, Haengbokmoa hired an additional 103 disabled people throughout the year, creating the largest standard workplace for the disabled in Korea.
Haengbokmoa operates with the purpose of building a happy workplace beyond the mandatory employment of disabled people and ultimately helping their independence. To this end, 10% of the working hours of disabled members are devoted to self-reliance education. Recently, the bakery business 'Haengbokmanbbang' was opened at the Icheon site following the Cheongju site.
In addition, Haengbokmoa spares no support to create a workplace where disabled members can work happily. In-house dedicated social workers provide job-customized education and case management according to disability types, and through the suggestion box system, workplace issues are identified early and improved. Various reward systems are also operated to motivate members.
