[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daehyun] The High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Division (PCC) has registered former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol as a suspect in connection with the 'accusation solicitation' allegation, which claims that during Yoon's tenure, the prosecution solicited accusations against opposition figures, ruling party members, and journalists.
At 3:30 PM on the 10th, a PCC official announced that Yoon was registered under four charges: abuse of authority, disclosure of official secrets, violation of the Personal Information Protection Act, and violation of the Public Official Election Act.

Previously, the PCC's Investigation Division 3 (Chief Prosecutor Choi Seok-gyu) stated that only Son Joon-sung, the Human Rights Protection Officer at Daegu High Prosecutors' Office, had been registered, but during the afternoon briefing, they explained, "It is correct that former Prosecutor General Yoon has also been registered."
